Anna Faris Cast in Indie Flick Southern Belles

Anna Faris ("Lost in Translation" and "Scary Movie" series) has been cast as the lead in debuting writer/director team Paul Myers and Brennan Shroff's comedy "Southern Belles". The independent feature began shooting this week in Wilmington, N.C.Laura Breckenridge and Justin Chambers also star, with Fred Weller (The Shape of Things) and Judah Friedlander (American Splendor) in supporting roles.The story follows two rural Southern girls taken in different directions as they hit the road to escape useless boyfriends and manipulative bosses.Source: Variety
