Harrison Ford's The Wrong Element Loses Director
By James Wray Aug 24, 2004, 15:29 GMT
Mark Pellington has pulled out of directing Harrison Ford in "The Wrong Element" for Warner Bros. Pictures. The director who signed up in July has left the film due to the death of his wife last week.
The studio has yet to find a replacement for Pellington but is said to be actively looking for another director to keep the film's intended early Fall shoot date.
"The Wrong Element" revolves around a security expert (Ford) who is blackmailed when crooks kidnapp his wife and child. He must rob the bank he is protecting in order to raise the ransom. Paul Bettany is cast as Ford's characters nemesis.
