Ashanti is set and Queen Latifah Join Muppets in Oz

Singer Ashanti is set and Queen Latifah is in negotiations to star in ABC's original movie titled "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz". The movies is a Muppet take on the classic L. Frank Baum novel. Quentin Tarantino is also set to star as himself.
Kirk R. Thatcher, who directed "Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" in 2002, is signed up to direct the film.
