Sam Raimi finds Sandman a wife

After the announcement last week that Bryce Dallas Howard is playing Gwen Stacy, it looks like Sam Raimi has a little more casting yet to do on his already in production ‘Spider-Man 3’.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Theresa Russell has joined the cast to play the wife of villain Flint Marko aka The Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church). How big her part would be is unknown, though since it’s been cast so late it’s probably small. Rumor says Marko and his wife have a daughter in Alvin Sargent’s ‘Spidey 3’ script.
Russell’s last work was on the critically acclaimed television miniseries ‘Empire Falls’. Since she started working as a model at age 12, Theresa has been dozens of movies and television shows, including ‘Wild Things’ and a host of straight-to-video level projects.
Look for ‘Spider-Man 3’ in theaters May 4, 2007.
