'Just another appendage' of the Disney empire? With a greater market cap than Disney, Apple will be poised to gobble Disney. And if you think John Lasseter heading up both Disney's and Pixar's animation units isn't a huge sea change in the corporate culture, not to mention the very idea of an iconoclast and borederine altruist like Jobs as the single largest shareholder in Disney AND running loose in the boardroom.... I mean, this is without a doubt the dumbest commentary on this story that I've read yet.

Unfortunately what you write is being picked up by google. Such irresponsible writing is not based on what the truth really is. With a headline such as 'It's official. The merger between Disney and Pixar is done.' is so blown out of context and just plain wrong. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is no 'done deal' between Disney and Pixar. That facts from all the reputable news services state the board of Disney has agreed to make an offer to Pixar to purchase Pixar.

Please, write responsibly.
