Woo hoo! I love Stewart, he is so funny. I expect some smart hosting this year! Maybe I'll get back to watching.

Boring.....Another attempt by Hollywood to stick a left-sided political whiner in the limelight to bash Bush and the Republicans.

Jon Stewart rocks - all of Canada will watch as we love Jon and his humour and his politics.

Paul I would have to agree with your keen observation.

The movie industry tends to be too full of themselves thinking there views are in the majority when half their audience do not even pay much attention to politics. All their radical liberal rhetoric does is push the middle of the road people further right.

Coming from an extremely democratic family I have learned to see through the garbage. Watching the Oscars is not worth my time.

He can bash Bush all he wants! Bush deserves everything he gets! I do think that this is a great choice.

Rian - Agreed. I'm actually a little upset that Mr. Stewart would do this, anyway. I'm no neocon, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hollywood burn to the ground lots of days. It's this kind of thing that lets people like Bill O'Reilly have a superiority complex.
