Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Rushes Keri Russell

Keri Russell and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers are both co-starring in the upcoming summer blockbuster ‘Mission: Impossible 3’. Apparently they liked working with each other so much they want to do it again.

Production Weekly reports that both may sign up to appear in the new fantasy love story ‘August Rush’ for Kirsten Sheridan. The movie already stars ‘Finding Neverland’s’ child actor Freddie Highmore and amped up actor Robin Williams.

The film is described as the story of gifted musical prodigies in love. Set in Central Park, Lyla and Louis have one night together before being separated for ten years. In that one night, Lyla gets pregnant, and later has a son named August launching a strange musical journey that at some point involves a wizard played by Williams.

‘August Rush’ starts shooting in New York on February 13th.

Keri Russell is still probably best known as the girl from TV’s ‘Felicity’, though she’s appeared in several films. She was last seen in the 2005 movie ‘The Upside of Anger’. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers can currently be seen in Woody Allen’s new movie ‘Match Point’, a film with considerable Oscar buzz.
