Bana smash sequels

Eric Bana in \'The Hulk\'
It's actually a little surprising to hear a 'Hulk 2' is even happening after the lackluster reception of the first one, but if 'Hellboy 2' can get made, then why not more 'Hulk'? Marvel insists they want to make more smashing action, whether their star shows up to be in it or not.
In the 2004 Ang Lee film'The Hulk' Eric Bana played the lead as Bruce Banner. But now Eric, who is pretty heavily in demand these days, says he doesn't know anything about a sequel. According to MovieHole.net, in an interview with New York Newsday Banner admits the first movie wasn't exactly successful and says "Nobody's talking about any sequel".
Except they are. Marvel head Avi Arad has been talking about doing 'Hulk 2' which says will be more adventure oriented and less psychological. More Hulk smash! But if they're doing it, it doesn't sound like Eric Bana will be in it. Will Universal recast and do it anyway, or will they give up and move on? Let's hope this doesn't end up as a straight to video sequel starring Hulk Hogan.
