This article seems very biassed as if the person writing it is taking out his anger on Narnia by cleverly using words to bash it.

I though Narnia was a better film than Kong, and i'm not christian.

Also i know there are christian elements in Narnia, and many churchs have booked showings for the film i dont think its christians that are fueling the film. The film would have been a success with the christian backing.

If you look at the christmas day numbers, Kong took over Narnia in BO takings. You would of thought Narnia would have ruled Kong on CHRISTmas day because of christians? But no it didnt. Though it did previous days, so i dont think you can say its all christians that are pushing Narnia. If you look, it also had very good reviews overall.

I think Narnia will continue to hold quite well.

Kong was a good film, but i've seen it too many times.

I don't make the numbers... you the moviegoers do.

Bias has nothing to do with it.

Naria is a great movie by the way, I love it.

I understand but;

'Christmas bolstered Christ allegory 'The Chronicles of Narnia''

The fact is it is probably only a small group who are seeing it just because it had christian relations. When C S Lewis wrote Narnia he did not actually intend it to be a christian story, its just some christians adpoted it.

When local churches are giving Narnia based sermons on Sunday... I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that the film is benefitting, at least in some way, from people attending because it is a Christian movie.

Yes but you are practically saying if it wernt for christians this film would be doing crap. I know a lot of people who have seen this because it they had either read the books, or just liked family films/fantasy films like The Lord of the Rings. If anything be driving Narnia it would be the success of both Potter and Rings.

I think only a very small minority are seeing this because of the christian message, especaially here in the UK, maybe a few more in the States.
