Reese Witherspoon has Family Troubles

Reese Witherspoon has just received a Golden Globe nomination for her work in ‘Walk the Line’, and she’s a shoe-in to be nominated for an Oscar too. Her career’s never been better.

Variety says she’ll follow up her awards worthy performance as June Carter Cash by starring in a movie once titled ‘Our Family Troubles’. It will be renamed. The film is based on a script spec by Don Winston being developed specifically for Reese at Universal Pictures.

The drama casts Reese as a stay-at-home Mom being bothered by unexplained phenomena. Doubting her sanity, she returns home to Tennessee she becomes convinced evil spirits are trying to hurt her son, and fixates herself on something called the legend of the Bell Witch.

This is just one of four upcoming Reese Witherspoon starring projects. She’s been cast in ‘Penelope’ with Christina Ricci and Hayden Christianson, a thriller called ‘Whiteout’, a romantic comedy called ‘Sports Widow’, and the thriller ‘Bunny Lake Is Missing’. Reese Witherspoon in 'Walk the Line'
