Angelina Jolie ready for Tomb Raider 3

Lara Croft hasn’t been doing so well in videogame form lately, so the company that owns her, SCI, is pushing through another movie. Coming Soon reports that they’re currently in talks with Paramount to make ‘Tomb Raider 3’.
Of course it’s all for nothing without Angelina Jolie. In the past she’s been adamant about having no interest in more of the Lara Croft character, but website The Business Online says she’s changed her mind, or presumably will for the right price.
Though audience reaction to the ‘Tomb Raider’ franchise of movies has been increasingly tepid, together ‘Tomb Raider’ and ‘Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life’ have made over $400 million worldwide. So it’s no surprise that Paramount might be interested in backing another one. Where there’s profit, there’s sequels.
Angelina Jolie is currently busy appearing in tabloids with the caption “She stole Jennifer’s man” below her name. In her spare time, she’s turning down Bond girl roles and filming ‘The Good Shepherd’, a film directed by and starring Robert De Niro. In other words, she’s pretty busy. ‘Tomb Raider 3’ isn’t a done deal yet, and Jolie isn’t signed to do it, so hold out for some sort of announcement from Paramount or at least confirmation from Angelina Jolie before lining up for tickets. For now, just consider it a possibility.

Previous comment a bit harsh, oh well. The first two movies were not bad, especially considering the original source material being rather simplistic. Angelina Jolie is adaptable enough as Lady Croft, plus she is easy on the eye. But as regards her interest and genuine admiration of the original Tomb Raider games its doubtful. Compare Agelina to the current Lara Croft model Karima Adibibe, you'll learn how much more interest Karima takes in the games, fans and suchlike. Personally I’d rather Karima be in the next movie, acting ability matters little in Hollywood anyway, plus she is actually English. Recently the games themselves has been given a major overhaul concerning the methods of play and the persona of Lara herself within the game world and how she interacts with it, thanks all to Crystal Dynamics. Now the game has been reinvented, maybe its time for the movies to follow suit with a new Lara and new plot style, maybe even include some tombs this time? Just a suggestion.
The first two movies weren't too bad. Personally I would like Jolie to play Croft just for the sake of preserving the Tomb Raider trilogy image. To finish what she's started.
I agree with John H Doe, But Angelina Jolie is an awesome woman that fit for Tomb Raider she my hero, but you gota think everyone took her into newer movies bcause of the last two flims, think about it she good with guns and jumpin to place to place she lara lol, But then again they need more action more story telling more stuff that is really show it the Tomb Raider, the other last two flim was ok not to bad but could done better it just went to fast now days people like longer movies longer and better details and more actions they could done better for her last two movies. but still she lara lol
I realy think Angelina Jolie should play the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider 3 as she is the Movie original and Karima should still be the game original. Ange best suit Lara's role as she does'nt need a stunt double to do her actions for her. Ange is is very adventerous and it would'nt feel the same with a new character playing Lara. I loved the first one but the secondone was'nt as good but i still liked it. Please Ange sign that contract.
Hey guys/girls, common angie is seriously ok yah know, i mean she is trying to keep up with a gaming character who has been around since i was 9 or so, its a hard character to live up to especially with all of the fans watching. i am personally very proud to see her as the hero and she is so beautiful. if you look at the games and the cover of the movies wow!!!!! she looks amazingly like the original character/model.... i am personally very happy that she chose to do the movie, and yes i would love to see her in the third. i would struggle to watch it if she wasn't in it. and not only that but its the perfect time to release the movie now that (Tomb Raider: Underworld) is coming out in 4 days!!!!!!!!! and i will be in line to get that game!!!!!!!! and so will millions of other tomb raider fans.
P.S. also don't get on her back about the movie. she's just the actress not the script writer angie her self in the special features section of her DVD even wants more out of (TR) specifically more action and a longer time frame and more countries/explorations.
I think a third 'Tomb Raider' movie is a good idea as long as there is a good script along with a great director( i.e. zack snyder). They should make it bigger and better than the first two to see a big box office draw.

The first two sucked so why would she do another. Also she said in interviews that she is sick of doing movies. Let some one who appreciates the art of movie making make a film. Not some one who uses her kids, other women's men, and lies to get what she wants.
