Dafoe gets the wrong man

Team Zissou member Willem Dafoe is switching from red beanies and speedos to crazed criminals. He's signed up to play a serial killer hunting detective in 'Anamorph'.

Production Weekly says Dafoe will play Stan Aubrey in the Henry S. Miller directed Indie. Aubrey is a veteran investigator on the trail of a murderer who may be copycatting a famous serial killer Stan captured and put away five years ago… or did he? As things get worse, Aubrey's partner starts to wonder if he got the right man half a decade earlier.

Willem has just finished working with director Spike Lee on the movie 'Inside Man'. He's currently filming a French movie with Juliette Binoche and Steve Buscemi called 'Paris, je t'aime'. He'll start shooting 'Anamorph' in New York early January 2006. Willem Dafoe as a member of Team Zissou in 'The Life Aquatic'
