Is Tekken cast?

Jet Li's not done with Kung Fu yet. In fact, he may soon be following in the footsteps of Jean-Claude Van Damme. That's never a good thing.
According to a rumor at IGN, Jet will star in a movie adaptation of the fighting game 'Tekken'. If true, he'll play a character named "Boxer" from the popular arcade game. The game may be popular, but that particular character isn't. Shouldn't he be playing Martial Law?
The rest of the names attached to join the project aren't really known to Western audiences. Jet Li would be the only draw for most Americans.
All of this seems to be mostly conjecture at this point, though the Jet Li rumor appears to be gaining credibility. Is there really much market for a movie like this anyway? What happened to the new, more serious about acting Jet Li we saw in 'Hero'?
