Hustle & sequel

Terrence Howard, star of 2005’s ‘Crash’, ‘Hustle & Flow’, and ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ spoke with MTV today, and he’s pushing a ‘Hustle & Flow 2’.
“'Hustle & Flow 2,' we're gonna do it," he says. The movie will start shooting next year, and according to Howard the script has already been written and the entire cast will return.
‘Hustle & Flow’ did well, if not spectacularly with audiences and critics earlier this year. The movie cost $2.8 million to make, they spent $15 million marketing it, and it grossed $22 million domestically. In other words, ‘Hustle & Flow’ turned a profit, but not a particularly big one. So it’s kind of surprising that anyone is really very hot to do another.
But Howard seems adamant about doing a sequel, and since the original was an MTV film and that’s where his interview is, it’s likely that MTV is ready to fund it.
