Most A-list celebrities have their own production companies these days, and Leonardo DiCaprio is no exception. Leo's taking a break from playing muse to Martin Scorsese to star in a movie for his production company Appian Way.
Variety says the movie is called 'Blink'. Written and directed by 'Traffic' and 'Syriana' helmer Stephen Gaghan, the movie is based on a non-fiction book called "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking" by Malcolm Gladwell. The best-selling book is about the type of thinking you do in the blink of an eye, it's a look at how we make snap judgments about people and things.
How do you turn that into a movie? The book is structured as a series of short vignettes about people making quick judgments in different situations. Gladwell's pitch reportedly takes the book's author Malcolm and combines him with other characters out of the book to put together a complete narrative.
