He's not just a Dark Jedi, he's an actor. Now that Hayden Christiansen is done with the Force, he'll go back to that acting thing. If that doesn't work, maybe he'll move in with Mark Hamill. Hayden may star in four new upcoming projects, to brush off all that Tatooine sand. First up, he'll star in 'Poker Night' opposite Samuel L. Jackson. In it, Christiansen plays a rookie detective who wakes up strapped to a chair in a dirty basement. His abductor? A vicious serial killer with a penchant for physical and mental torture. Hayden's second project is likely to be a little more high profile. He'll be working with 'Die Hard' director John McTiernan on a movie called 'Crash Bandits'. The film tells the story of treasure hunters looking for wrecked airplanes. I wonder if they could get Natalie Portman in a bikini long enough to play Jessica Alba to his Paul Walker? Variety says that also on the horizon for Hayden is a movie called 'Penelope'. You'd think they'd have gone with Penelope Anne Miller or Penelope Cruz for a movie like that. But no. Instead in addition to Hayden (who is still in negotiations) it stars Christine Ricci and Reese Witherspoon in the story of a pig faced girl. No, that's not a joke. No, Michael Richards will not make a guest appearance... though maybe he should. Lastly, Vader's looking to star with Jude Law's ex... current... whichever she is, Sienna Miller in 'Factory Girl'. It's the story of Any Warhol and his girl Edie Sedgwick. Sienna plays Sedgwick, Guy Pearce may play Warhol. Hayden is still in negotiations to join the film, no word on who he'll be portraying. Maybe he's their Guy Pearce backup. He'd make a very odd Warhol. Use the Force Andy! Of course, this isn't Hayden's first work outside of 'Star Wars'. In between wearing Jedi robes he fit in the fantastic journalism movie 'Shattered Glass' in which he played disgraced journalist Stephen Glasss and in 2001 he starred as a rebellious teen opposite Kevin Kline in 'Life as a House'. Recently, he's just finished filming 'Decameron: Angels and Virgins' and he'll soon start shooting 'Awake' with, oddly enough, Jessica Alba.
