Squeaky clean “Ghost Whisperer” star Jennifer Love Hewitt is getting down and dirty, by starring as a hooker housewife from Texas in a feature based on an article titled “She Had Brains, a Body, and the Ability to Make Men Love Her” that appeared in Texas Monthly magazine. The Hollywood Reporter describes the project as “fact based”, which we presume to mean there will indeed be some true things in it... but not enough to make it boring. The original magazine article, written by Katy Vine, is the story of a 22-year-old Odessa housewife and former homecoming queen who becomes the most popular hooker in her little Texas community. That is until she and 68 of her fellow prostitutes and prominent Odessa citizens were arrested in the midst of a city-shaking scandal. J-Love will play the lead role as the home making whore, and her production company LoveSpell Entertainment will produce the film. It may be a movie about sex-for-money, but don’t expect Jennifer Love Hewitt to abandon her wholesome persona. She envisions the movie as a comedy. Making the concept a joke should allow them to avoid the less savory side of selling one’s body. Hewitt’s last feature film appearance was in 2004’s ‘Garfield’. In addition to continuing work on her hit TV show “Ghost Whisperer”, she’s also signed to appear in ‘Garfield 2’.
