Dunst seeks reperations for Iraq
By Joshua Tyler Oct 18, 2005, 2:50 GMT

Kirsten may be done with Spider-Man after she wraps on the third film, but she'll be plenty busy anyway. Variety says she's set to star in an Iraq film about the life of 28-year-old murdered American relief worker Marla Ruzicka.
Ruzicka fought to get reparations for the civilians who suffered casualties in Iraq in Afghanistan during the U.S.'s ongoing conflict there. In the process she founded the Campaign for Innocent Victims of Conflict, an organization which has raised $28 million to assist the civilian populations affected by those conflicts.
Paramount made a deal for the rights to Ruzicka's life last summer, and has hired screenwriter Lorene Scafaria to pen a script. MTV Films will produce the film along with Mark Platt.
