Funny Man of the Year

Actor and comedian Robin Williams is re-teaming with director Barry Levinson for a comedy about a late-night political talkshow host who runs for president, according to Variety.

The political grandstanding is of course, just a stunt, and the film follows the host-turned-candidate on the campaign trail as things go horribly wrong. He wins. Williams will play the lead role, a character described as a talk host in the mold of Jon Stewart. Titled 'Man of the Year', the movie will shoot on location in places like Toronto and Washington D.C. when it starts filming in the fall for Universal and Morgan Creek.

This is the third time Robin Williams and Barry Levinson have worked together. Their previous projects where 'Good Morning Vietnam' and the surreal comedy 'Toys'.
