Selma Blair sniffs Purple Violets

Edward Burns will direct the independent film ‘Purple Violets’ according to Production Weekly. Selma Blair is rumored to be negotiating to star in the pic.

Burns is currently in post-production on another independent movie ‘The Groomsmen’ in which he’s pulling a trifecta by directing, writing, and starring in the film. Selma Blair can be seen in theaters soon in ‘The Fog’, next year she’ll be in ‘The Night of the White Pants’, and in 2007 she’ll be reprising the role of Liz Sherman opposite the right hand of doom in ‘Hellboy 2’.

‘Purple Violets’ starts shooting in New York next month.
