Music movie goes Six Feet Under

Superheroes aren't the only people with their own special High Schools. Musicians get them too. Variety reports that Emmy-winning "Six Feet Under" actress Rachel Griffiths will star in an as of yet untitled project about a rebellious teen forced to do community service at a performing arts high school. Channing Tatum will star as the rebellious teen along with Jenna Dewan as a dancer love interest who persuades him to join the cast of a school show. Recording star Mario will also join the cast as one of Tatum's friends.

The script was written by Duane Adler, who also wrote the similar movie 'Save the Last Dance' and genre veteran Melissa Rosenberg. Anne Fletcher, will take on directing duties. This is Fletcher's first time directing, though she's been working for years as a choreographer on high profile movies. This year alone she worked on 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin', 'The Longest Yard', 'Ice Princess', and 'The Pacifier'.

The untitled film will be produced by Jennifer Gibgot and Adam Shankman, whom Fletcher has done a lot of work for as a choreographer in the past.
