Luke Wilson loses something important
By Joshua Tyler Sep 29, 2005, 20:59 GMT
There are few things men fear more than sudden, catastrophic castration. Luke Wilson will face that fear, when he tangles with a willy-whacking trumpet in ‘Barry Munday’.
Variety reports that the lesser Wilson is in negotiations to take on the title role in the Prospect Pictures paternity comedy. Chris D’Arienzo will write and direct the movie, based on a novel written by Frank Turner Hollon.
‘Munday’ is the story of a womanizer who loses his family jewels after he sleeps with a woman and is attacked by her trumpet wielding, irate father. I’m not sure how one might successfully remove testicles using only a wind instrument, but it’s bound to be pretty painful. Things only get worse when the newly castrated man finds out he’s being sued for paternity by a woman he doesn’t even remember.
If you’re looking for Luke in a more manly role, he can next been seen in theaters this November in the film ‘The Family Stone’. He’ll follow that up by trying to stop Alec Baldwin from deflowering Mini in ‘Mini’s First Time’.
