After racking up an impressive per-screen-average last weekend in limited release, Tim Burton's 'Corpse Bride' was the odds on favor to blow the doors off this weekend's number one, U.S. box office spot as it expanded into wide release. Instead, the film proved that a high per-screen-average doesn’t mean much when you're only playing in five theaters.
