Rosario in Clerks and Killshot

Rosario Dawson is going to be working non-stop, if her list of upcoming films is any indication of her schedule. Variety reports that the former 'Sin City' queen of the whores will star in two new movies, 'Killshot' and Kevin Smith's 'The Passion of the Clerks'. Both films are part of the roster for the newly formed Weinstein Company.

The Weinsteins are close to deals with Johnny Knoxville and Gordon-Levitt to join 'Killshot' along with Dawson and Diane Lane. Directed by John Madden, 'Killshot' is another Elmore Leonard adaptation, this one the story of a couple fleeing to the witness protection program to escape a gangster. Rosario will play girlfriend to Gordon-Levitt's dangerous gangster sidekick character.

'The Passion of the Clerks' is Kevin Smith's upcoming sequel to the movie that made him famous, 'Clerks'. No word on where Rosario will pop up in the film.

Rosario can next be seen this fall in the Chris Columbus, movie version of the hit Broadway musical 'Rent'.
