Farrellys get a Hall Pass

Peter and Bobby Farrelly will look to follow up ‘Fever Pitch’ in the couples comedy genre by directing the relationship film ‘Hall Pass’ for 20th Century Fox.

According to Variety, the spec script on which the movie will be based was written by former “Project Greenlight” subject Pete Jones. Jones’ “Project Greenlight” movie ‘Stolen Summer’ was less than a success, but Fox is willing to give his latest script a chance under more veteran direction.

‘Hall Pass’ is the story of a married couple finding themselves going through the motions. To spice things up, the wife gives her husband a hall pass, which means permission to engage in physical relationships outside their marriage. Complications and comedic relationship hijinks ensue.

The Farrelly brothers will produce ‘Hall Pass’ along with Bradley Thomas.
