Jon Heder is a Mama's Boy

Though his debut film 'Napoleon Dynamite' was critically savaged, wannabe funnyman Jon Heder's career is red hot. Next week he'll be appearing in the Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy 'Just Like Heaven', in 2006 he'll be showing up in the comedy 'The Benchwarmers', then a Billy Bob Thornton powered remake of 'School for Scoundrels', and now he's been given the leading role in another comedy called 'Mama's Boy'

Written by Hank Nelken and helmed by first time director Tim Hamilton, the film is exactly what the title suggests. Heder plays an arrogant know-it-all and yes, lives with his mom. He digs the situation until his mom falls in love with a self-help guru, upsetting the balance of his perfect existence when they start talking marriage.

Empire Online reports that though they've just cast their lead actor, Warner Independent Pictures is targeting the film for a February 2006 release.
