Spielberg's world collides

Steven Spielberg will replace Stephen Sommers as the producer on Paramount's remake of When Worlds Collide.
The original 1951 movie followed a group of scientists who calculate another planet is on collision course with earth. They decide to build a rocket to allow at least some of Earth’s inhabitants to escape.
Variety reports that Sommers is instead going to work on 20th Century Fox's A Night at the Museum.
The trade says there is no word on whether Spielberg will also direct the movie.
