Keanu Reeves and Catherine Zeta-Jones for Stompanato?

Keanu Reeves and Catherine Zeta-Jones are in talks to star in a film about Johnny Stompanato, the small time crook who was murdered by the teen daughter of his actress partner Lana Turner.The Hollywood Reporter says Adrian Lyne will direct and Warner Bros. may distribute.Stompanato, who was a WWII vet and had acting ambitions, was killed in 1958 at Turner's Beverly Hills home. Cheryl Crane, Turners' 14-year-old daughter killed Stompanato but the deth was later ruled as justifiable homicide...however rumors included that the two were in fact lovers or that Turner murdered him and let her daughter take the blame.
