20th Century Fox has picked up film rights to The Bachelorette Party by Karen McCullah Lutz, with Nicole Kidman to possibly star.
The book follows school teacher Zadie Roberts who is dumped at the alter by her soap star boyfriend. She then tries to avoid anything to do with weddings or romance...however her best friend then decides to marry Zadie's cousin and so she is once again sunk deep in all things marital.
Variety says Kidman will also help produce the movie.
