Todd Holland directing canine caper Firehouse Dog

Todd Holland has been hired to direct Firehouse Dog for Regency Enterprises.
The Hollywood Reporter says the movie follows Rexxx, tinsel town's IT canine star. The dog gets lost and is adopted by a firehouse. The dog teams up with a 12-year-old boy (to be played by Josh Hutcherson) in order to get the firehouse back into shape.
Claire-Dee Lim wrote the script and filming is due to start next month in Toronto.
