The news of Sidharth being a player and acting as such does generate lot of interest in Andhra Pradesh, where carrom is a household game boasting of world women's champion in S.Appoorwa and six times national champion and three time world runner up in P. Nirmala. Sidharth may do well by attending a function or two of major carrom events at Hyderabad and if possible be a participant.

All said and done this will help in further popularising the game of carrom in southern region, particularly Andhra Pradesh.
