Ilaiyaraja's song makes 'Thamizh MA' album a winner

Chennai, Oct 2 (IANS) Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is ruling the Tamil charts with his songs in 'Thamizh MA' and the highlight is the one sung by his father, renowned composer Ilaiyaraja.
The top five Tamil albums are:
1. 'Thamizh MA' - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. After the highly acclaimed 'Ram', Yuvan and actor Jeeva join hands together. And what an album this is! The pick of the album is the maestro Ilayaraja singing 'Paravaiya ennai' for his son!
2. 'Pollathavan' - Music Director: G.V. Prakash. This is another interesting album from the young nephew of A.R. Rahman.
3. 'Bheema' - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. 'Mudhal mazhai' by Prasanna, Hariharan and Mahati is the current favourite among radio listeners.
4. 'Sathum Podaathay' - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. 'Pesugiren Pesugiren' by the Viva Girls continues to be a hot favourite.
5. 'Sivi' - Music Director: Dharan. Youngsters can't have enough of 'Oh Nenje', a remix song. The tone of the album is rap, and rap at its best.
