PIL against Aishwarya's marriage with tree

Its both surprising and sad that a remarkable person like Aishwarya allows herself to be put through such superstitious nonsense as marrying a tree! As for the Big B..... I think its just shameful that he coerces his future daughter in law to take part in such a sham. In the case of the future husband, I don't think he loves his finance at all. I recommend that the Bacchan family read Rabindranath Tagore's ' where the mind is without fear'

yet another cheap trick from a loser lawyer to gain her 5 min of fame....who the hell is she to protest against someone, given that in all probability aishwarya could be doing it of her own will. The lawyer has no business dictating terms to someone else or protesting against anyone if the person isn't harming anyone and just following her beliefs.

I think the High court should act sensibly and slap a fine on the lawyer for trying to defame the couple. She has no business asking the family for a public apology. Really, its a pity and an irony that lawyers who should be bringing in justice to people in trouble should delve into such petty issues that is of no consequence to anyone, and cause all the trouble instead!

i cannot understand why the courts in india takes such ridiculos PIL. i think the court should just dismiss the case. the indian judiciary is already burdened with numerous court cases waiting for a verdict, and such ridiculous PIL will only make matters worse.

absolutely ridiculous! Such lawyers should be sued for harassment! . every individual should be free to practice any religious rite- so long it does not harm anyone else.

It does seems that many a idiots are present in india who dont understand the effects of the planets and how the destiny affects us all.
There are many a things which common people dont understand and it does take a lot of study and hard work to understand the work of destiny.
Big B is no fool and he know what is astrology and destiny.
Just some lawyer said some thing does not mean that he is intellegent.
The Hindu religin is old and people know what they are doing.
So let people do what they want.

Science and Religion the complimentary aspects of truth, which is greatest of all things in the world... It seems Aishwarya's marriage with tree, idols is far off from the truth, not based on good ideas. For good married life we have to pray to Almighty whatever may you call destiny bla bla...but indulging in marrying Aishwarya to trees, idols means no good thing but waste of time and expression of coward and fearful feeling of people towards unwise ideas...

Those who believe such practics give benefits, should remember prayer can give something, if these things/practices are even done with great reverence to the Almighty, will definitely give some benefits, but these dogmatic, fixed ideas and practices are just showcases...better Aish prays regularly to God at home or temple instead of getting married with a tree or ann idol....

It is not only Aish's duty, Abhi should also pray God for great happy married life...
God's sure they have a great life...God bless..

would not be traceable !

We now face it ! Nehru said ' I sont believe in all this Nonsense ' This is recorded. He said that without studying the subject ! What do they know of trees beyond what a timber logger knows !

As to Morality, our Post Islamic Invasion adjusting values is 300 years old ! We adjusted to Mongols, Islamic, Jain, Budhist, and British prudery. So what we hold before a Judge is no Original Indian values.

Comes a flood of sex toys from China, and familily planning workers will have to put them up on all village trees behind screens, make sure that population explosion and Aids is contained. Those who go to court will see Indians busy with tree fitted and toilet fitted toys.

Indian marriage as we have know will vaporise when toys give roughly 8 times more kick to the nerve based system. Who will care to marry male or female
with natural original fitment, when mechanical and electronics can render a better deal. It has started in USA and is just a decade away. Which Girl will moon over a male and his God Given fitments !

I feel so bad for Poets, Movie Makers, story writers, Divorce Lawyers, lunatic
sex driven misbehaving humanity, movie box offices, least to talk of TREES !
