If you've really seen the promo's you'd know the answers to all the questions you just asked because they answer them all clearly.

The reason the film was delayed (since you didn't bother doing research) is because they were not happy with the special effects and a new technology was almost complete to allow them to make better flame effects. The film wasn't in it's final cut until 2 weeks ago so how could it have been released 6 months ago. this movie has not been sitting on a shelf. You might want to do some research, and also really watch the promo's before making statements like that. Yes he has a relationship with Eva, Ghost Rider is the Devils Bounty Hunter, and it explains in the narrative of each trailer why? Some of the shorter TV spots don't have all the info but the longer ones and the theatrical trailers do.

OK, lets say GR is not fit for a summer blockbuster, so what? Not all summer blockbusters have a good story to back up all it's shnazzy special effects. I'm glad their putting out big budget movies like Ghost Rider out in February.

Most moviegoers dont know and dont care what month a studio plans to put a movie out...if they see a good looking movie, their gonna go see it. End of story.

At this point I have yet to see the movie. But I can say a couple of things before I do.
I do not like Nick Cage. His toupe' looks stupid and he can't act to save his life. He won an OSCAR ?
I am excited about the thought of seeing Ghost Rider blazing across the screen on a way cool Fiery chopper ! Ghost Rider is cool.
Peter Fonda, Eva Mendez and Sam Elliot I like them. So the star sucks but at least I can hope the move will be good.
Just the thought of Hollywood doing COMIC BOOK properties is a step in the right direction.
Let's just hope that a way cool (300) or (Lord of the rings) type CONAN film comes from all of this. This is the 3rd chance to get it right. If they screw it up then Comic book based movies don't have a chance.

I was not going to see the movie but I could not stop myself.
It was very GOOD.
