I almost died laughing when I finally realized that it was John in that character makeup, he was so convinceing that you had to look twice before you saw his features come through the makeup. Totally awsome

John Travolta is HYSTERICAL as Edna Turnblad! I was screaming with laughter throughout!
Who knows anything about that ACCENT he uses in the movie?? That made his lines about ten times funnier. He is a comedic genius!
