so stupid I am posting this while sitting at the drive-in while the movie is ending, hoping to save some other poor family from making the same mistake! don't waste your money seeing this one. even the kids (8 & 11) said it wasn't funny, and half way thru one of them asked 'who picked this movie when we could have seen night at the museum?' I think that says it all. yuck yuck yuck.

A pitch perfect film. If you love 'It's A Wonderful Life,' you will not want to miss this brilliant film. A new classic.

The beginning of the movie might be a little difficult to understand for the real young kids but it was absolutely great! My nephew loved the adventure but I was trying to hold back tears in many of the scenes. It was creative, funny and touching. A Must See!

I feel such gratitude to the good folks at Pixar for consistently providing my family with films that soar with such beauty, wit and intelligence. Where on earth do they get these story tellers? Such brillance, my god!!! Up is a masterwork on so many levels and for so many audiences. I am a bit mystified by the intensity of some of the negative reviews I have read. I don't quite understand why a story intended for children needs tobe completely without some sadness. Come on folks, give the kids some credit, they can handle some heavy stuff if told with sensitivity. These themes have never been handled as beautifully. Take your kids, your parents, yourselves, to this magnificent movie. Thanks again Pixar!!!
