The Tree of Life -

We trace the evolution of an eleven-year-old boy in the Midwest, Jack, one of three brothers. At first all seems marvelous to the child. He sees as his mother does, with the eyes of his soul. She represents the way of love and mercy, where the father tries to teach his son the world's way, of putting oneself first. Each parent contends for his allegiance, and Jack must reconcile their claims. The picture darkens as he has his first glimpses of sickness, suffering and death. The world, once a thing of glory, becomes a labyrinth.
Framing this story is that of adult Jack, a lost soul in a modern world, seeking to discover amid the changing scenes of time that which does not change: the eternal scheme of which we are a part. When he sees all that has gone into our world's preparation, each thing appears a miracle precious, incomparable. Jack, with his new understanding, is able to forgive his father and take his first steps on the path of life.

They were in the texas state capital i was there and saw them
filming!
We both were in the movie shoot down at Matagorda beach all 3 days. It was the best experience ever. Brad & Sean were awesome and very nice. The whole Production crew was so professional & took very good care of everyone. Thanks for giving us an experience of a lifetime. Hope we will be seen in the movie.
Our 1949 Chevy and my husband, as an extra, drove our car for this film. He was also asked to drive some of the other cars in this movie. They had him all dressed up in 1940's clothing. Looked good.
My uncle is in this movie! Thats so crazy!!

I WAS IN TH EMATAGARDA SHOOT AND ALSO IN TH EHOUSTON SHOOT, IT WAS AWESOME!CAN YOU IMAGINE, I COME FROM A SMALL RANCH IN MEXICO AND I GET TO MEET AND WORK WITH THE MOST FAMOUS ACTORS AND DIRECTOR AROUND. I NEED TO RIGHT A BOOK OF MY LIFE. THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
I was down at Zilker Park in Austin during Filming one day and got a chance to be an extra in the Movie.
i was in the movie in smithvill with my wife to be. we drove my 1948 dodge they had us in 40s cloths it was great. best deal ever. look fo me in the dark blue 48 dodge.i would do it again in a heart beat it was so cool.
My 7 and 11 year old daughtera were used as extras in the filming at Matagorda. This experience has made a huge impact on my 11 year old. She says she is very interested in auditioning for more films. One of the directors walked up to my girls on the last day of filming and personally thanked them for all the hours of hard work! That 'thank you' was priceless!
My girls were dressed in 40's clothing and you will be able to see them holding hands running on the dunes! I am one proud Mom!!!
