The Myth -

An adventure of 2 lifetimes
Stanley Tong's big-budget epic "The Myth" brings out the best of Jackie Chan the Actor, and still has lots of prop combat and comedy fights that we all know and love. Jackie describes The Myth as more like an Indiana Jones film. In the movie Jackie plays Qin-era Chinese General named Meng-Yi who is seen in flashbacks, while the present day has Jackie playing a modern day archaeologist on an adventure shot on location in several countries, spanning China, Korea, and India, all in the search for the missing tomb of Qin dynasty Emperor. General Meng-Yi is an honor bound warrior torn between his loyalty to the Qin Emperor and his growing emotions for Princess Ok-soo a Korean princess he's charged with protecting. Throw in mysterious stones that create levitation, an immortality pill, lavish sets and costumes, a 2000year long romance, palace intrigue, epic battle scenes with thousands of extras, and extremely funny action-comedy and we have a recipe for a fun, exciting action adventure movie perfect for the whole family…….
