The Mighty Celt -

Follows Donal (McKenna) a 14-year old who develops a passion for greyhound racing. He works in a kennel owned by Good Joe (Stott). Good Joe offers the boy ownership of his favourite greyhound, The Mighty Celt, if the dog wins three races on the trot.
Donal's mother, Kate (Anderson), has her own issues when a blast from the past (Carlyle) comes back into her life.
All this plays against the ongoing political climate of Ireland.
