The Fall -
In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman (Pace) begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm (Untaru), a fantastical story about 5 mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality starts to blur as the tale advances.

Saw 'The Fall' yesterday and loved it. Want to see it again sometime after I've had time to think about it some. Watched 'Pushing Daisies' until it was no longer available and plan to watch when it returns this fall. Lee Pace seems a perfect fit for a 1920s time frame. Liked him in 'Miss Pettigrew Lives for A Day'. He's just 'sweet' in the nicest sense of the word. By the way, I'm 80 years old..not that it matters, but I've seen a LOT of movies.
I've seen The Fall a total of 6 times since it's release. It's amazing. If I had a bad day, I'd go see it and walk out feeling hopeful and fresh- not that The Fall is a happy go lucky feel-good movie, it just takes you all over the world, explores your imagination and pushes your emotions to the maxxx. I've seen it make men of all ages cry!
Just go see it/rent it/buy it.
Do yourself a favor!
DVD Release tomorrow 8/9/08!
