This is a re-make of the 1979 movie from Stuart Rosenberg.
On December 18, 1975, George and Kathy Lutz, together with their children, moved into their dream home in Amityville, New York.
Little known to them a year before one Ronald DeFeo had murdered his parents in cold blood while they slept.
The family only lasted a month during which they were terrorised by the spirits of the murdered parents as well as a the ghosts from the Indian burial ground, that the house was supposedly built on.
