Starship Dave -
The plot begins with a massive fireball from space hitting Central Park in New York, from the crater an ordinary man emerging unscathed.
The man is actually a spaceship operated by 100 human-looking aliens who are one-quarter inch tall and seeking a way to save their planet. Things complicate when the alien's captain falls in love with an Earth woman who has a habit of picking losers in romance.
