Serena -
George Pemberton and his new bride Serena create a timber empire in 1929 North Carolina. Much like Lady Macbeth, Serena pushes her husband to commit ruthless acts in order to maintain their wealth. When she learns she can’t have a child, Serena sets out to murder the son her husband fathered illegitimately.
