Raising Flagg -
Arkin stars as Flagg Purdy, a curmudgeonly handyman who somehow manages to hold onto the love of his life Ada (Dana) in the face of universal ridicule from the rest of the small-town community. After a humiliating run-in with a neighbor, Flagg takes to his bed and refuses to leave it. That's when family members who have been away for years return to try to coax Flagg to rejoin the world of the living once more.
