I agree that Eva Mendes would not be the ideal candidate for Teresa Mendoza. Another suggestion for the character would be Columbian actress,
Catalina Sandino Moreno.
I don't like Eva Mendez to be La Reina del Sur, I also think that
Salma Hayek or Eva Longoria would of been perfect for thi character
I think Eva Mendez has not have the type
I just don't see her as La Reina del Sur at all she does not give the TYPE!!!

I think Salma Hayek would of been a great for the part and moore
