Pinkville -
Willis will play Army Gen. William R. Peers, who supervised the investigation into the massacre by U.S. soldiers of as many as 500 Vietnamese villagers, most of whom were unarmed women, children and elderly. Tatum will portray helicopter pilot Hugh Thompson, who, when realizing what was happening, stopped the killing by placing his craft between gunmen and the remaining villagers.
'Pinkville' is a military map description for the region where My Lai is.

Will Oliver Stone include the photographer (Ronald Haeberle) who witnessed everything from the ground be included in the film? He was the key in exposing the entire massacre. If he leaves him out, it would be a huge mistake.
