Adapted from James Patterson's novel Maximum Ride : The Angel Experiment.

The first book, When the Wind Blows, is the story of six genetically altered children with wings, created by grafting avian DNA onto human genes, who are being hunted down. Maximum Ride develops the ideas from the first book and follows the children as one of their number is kidnapped by Erasers--half men, half-wolves genetically engineered by sick and sinister scientists.
