Life Goes On

MOONSTONE INTERNATIONAL (Script Development Partner)

“Moonstone selects only the most innovative, exciting and original writers and directors whose projects are likely to appeal to an international audience”.

In a decade at the forefront of independent cinema development, Moonstone International was regarded as the gold standard filmmakers’ development programme in Europe, with kudos coming from the Lab’s affiliation to Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute in the US.  As such, competition to get on each programme was fierce, with places reserved for the more advanced projects from emerging screenwriters throughout Europe.  Having a screenplay developed at Moonstone is a significant road block on the journey to production, with confidence coming from an artistic advisory board that included Michael Caine, Stephen Frears, Anthony Minghella and Ken Loach.

Life Goes On was accepted to the Moonstone International Screenwriting Lab in November 2005, where it was developed further with the help of critically acclaimed screenwriters, including John Furse (Blind Flight), Andrea Gibb (Dear Frankie & Afterlife) and Neil Hunter (Lawless Heart and Sparkle).
