Fast Track -

The story centers on an underachiever who is forced to take a job he doesn't want -- working for his father-in-law -- after his wife becomes pregnant and quits her high-paying job. Moving from New York City to Madison, Wisconsin after the birth of their baby, Tom (Braff) and Sofia (Peet) have to adjust to their new roles. Sofia, formerly a high profile Manhattan attorney is now a stay-at-home mom, and Tom, who's tried and lost many jobs because of his tendency to speak his mind, is now working at the ad agency where Sofia's dad, Bob, works. As Tom discovers his mentor. Chip Sanders (Bateman), is actually trying to sabotage him (though not as much as Tom inadvertently sabotages himself), he realizes that maybe advertising isn't for him -- just as the frustrated Sofia begins to realize that maybe she's not the stay-at-home mom type.
