In the book journalist Schlosser argues that the fast food industry is responsible for the explosion of malls in America's landscape, expanding rich/poor gap, causing obesity, and in the vanguard of U.S. American cultural imperialism abroad.

Disturbingly prophetic, a scenario that has potential to upset the entire fast food industry but a film that has mysteriously been removed from our screens before it had made it to the provinces. Interference? I suspect so because as a film it had messages, narrative, actors and philosophy that were heavy weight and provocative, the kind of film that audiences enjoy to be challenged by
